Dinner at Portobello

We had dinner last night at Portobello and could have died thereafter, the food was THAT good! I mean, Portobello knocks our socks off when they cater our Girls Night Out events, but this... this was pure sensory indulgence. Not only was the food delicious, the presentation was artful, conversation fun and atmosphere relaxing. Even you die hard meat eaters are sure to fall in love with chef Aaron (Kirk was ready to get down on one knee!) Ummm, and did I mention the Frey, organic, sulfite-free Zinfandel...

Two thumbs up and a return visit pronto!

Friday night join us for "Decadent Girl" Girls Night Out. We will start the evening with belly dancing from 5:30-6:30pm. Then relax, mingle and shop to your hearts content with our fabulous vendors. Enjoy dinner from Portobello restaurant, dessert and beverage. Reservations required for the belly dancing class (pay here through paypal link)

Saturday the Bazaar continues from 10-3pm. Sip spiced cider and find that perfect gift!

October's Girls Night Out!

Was so much fun! Portobello was fantastic! Their food is to die for, pumpkin bisque, vegan herbed chevre, crackers and figs, cantrelle pate and crackers, hummus and veggies- ummmm, so good! WE2 set the relaxed mood and Branda melted us with her massage. Some beautiful cat masks were crafted and ball class was a wild ride!

This time around we hooked up with a long lost high school friend, talked real estate with the master, gardening with a national writer/presenter and injury rehab with avid cyclist and designer.

FREE Cyclocross class

TEMPO will be offering a FREE cyclocross class on Tuesday's at 5:30-6:30pm starting Oct 20th!
Base training class on Thursday's at 5:30-6:30pm. Class cost is $20 or $80 for 5 classes.

Race Training classes returning - time/start date TBA.

Race Training is an outdoor skills development class incorporating handling techniques, proper equipment use and tactics. Taught by Ian Brown.

Cycle Fitness classes canceled

Kirk will be at Elite National Championships with a couple of his coaching clients Thurs 10/1- Sun 10/4. So, the Thurs, Sat and Sun classes will be canceled. Come check out chair class on Sat. @ 9:15am! Classes will resume next Tues (10/6) as scheduled.

Girls Night Out Summary

GNO was a good time- lots of laughter, wine and new friends. Tasha from Sensei sauce did an amazing job turning our snack into a delicious dinner! Chair class was fun and the girls kicked butt!

It was a comfortable, supportive evening of networking and enjoying YOUR "free time". We had other Pilates instructors, marketing wizards, a PNCA academic advisor, elementary school teacher, a jewelry maker, nurses, an archeologist, business coaching expert; moms, artists, and self starters! Such a diverse group!

Next GNO is Friday, Oct 23rd
Join us for Halloween Cat Masks, live music by WE2, delicious food by Portobello restaurant, red wine, massage and acupuncture! (bodywork is extra during the party)

Congrat's to Ann Locke-Davidson

She rocked Australia winning a bronze medal at the Triathlon World Championships, 1 of 5 medals won by the USA!

"The race was on the Gold Coast of Australia. There were over 31 countries and thousands of athletes as there were multiple races. My race had something like 1900 people in it. We competed by age group. Everyone was fast, serious, scary."
